The North Dakota Diabetes Prevention and Control Program (NDDPCP) receives funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to support diabetes prevention, early diagnosis and disease management by working with communities, health professionals and health systems in the areas of policy, disease management, quality improvement and education. This is accomplished primarily through collaboration with other disease programs and statewide partners to develop and coordinate joint efforts.
The director and epidemiologist for the NDDPCP work closely with Dakota Diabetes Coalition members to increase their reach and make a greater impact on preventing and controlling diabetes throughout North Dakota.
